Your Resume

  3. Ensure that the structure and layout are easy to follow. If the font is too small or otherwise unprofessional, your personality may not come across as strongly in your resume as you would like it to.
  4. Submit your resume in a format that cannot be edited. A job-hunting platform can change the format of your document without you even knowing it, and you’ll be out of time and money if that happens.
  5. For the final time, at OHJY, we don’t demand a formal cover letter. In the interview process, we will take the time to get to know you as a person, what makes you tick, and why you’d be a great fit for our company and role.

Preparation is Essential

If you’re prepared for the interview, it might help to calm your nerves a little bit. We recommend that you spend some time on our website and on our LinkedIn profile to get a sense of our company culture.

Plan out your introduction, but keep in mind that we want to get to know you as authentically as possible, so be yourself. On the other hand, we’d like to learn more about your previous work experience and how it relates to the position you’re applying for.

Interviewing Techniques

Emails will be sent to those who have been accepted, allowing them to set up an initial interview at a time that works for them. We’ve included a link in the email that you can use to schedule an interview with us.

In your first interview, you’ll meet an OHJY recruiter who will take the time to get to know you and get to know what you’re looking for in a new job. Our understanding is that there is a back and forth here.

As long as your resume, skills, and demeanor impress us, we will set up a second interview with the client for you. Usually lasting 20-40 minutes, the final round of interviews concludes with this round.

Let us know if you’ve changed your mind about the position, and we’ll cancel the interview. That’s all there is to it!
